Service Types and Financial Rules
Service Models
Our platform offers two primary service models to suit your requirements: Reserved Services and Pay-As-You-Go Cloud Services.
Reserved Services
Billing: Costs are calculated based on the selected duration (e.g., 2 weeks, 1 month) and charged in full upon allocation. Policy: Once a system is allocated, no cancellations, refunds, or service modifications are permitted. Usage: Whether the system is running, powered off, or deleted, costs remain fixed. Ferdowsi Cloud is not liable for unused allocated resources; payments are non-refundable.
Pay-As-You-Go
Billing: Costs are calculated hourly based on actual usage. Status Management: Running: Charges apply to CPU, RAM, and Disk resources. Powered Off: Only Disk storage charges apply. Commencement: Billing begins immediately upon delivery of system access credentials.
Financial Policies
Prepayment: Reserved services must be paid in full before system credentials are issued. Account Balance: Users must maintain a positive balance. If the account balance becomes negative: Ferdowsi Cloud reserves the right to terminate/delete the system without prior notice. While we may delay deletion to assist users (particularly students), this is at our sole discretion and does not waive our right to terminate service at any time. Discounts: All discounts are provided as promotional credits. Please contact our Sales or Support departments to apply for eligible discounts.
We provide two main services to meet different needs: reserved services, which secure resources for you upfront, and hourly cloud services (PAYG) to fully control costs. Maintaining a positive balance is essential to avoid service interruptions. For guidance on service selection or cost management, our sales team is ready to assist.
User Responsibilities & Data
Data Management & User Responsibilities
Data Retention: Users are responsible for backing up and downloading all necessary data before the service period ends or before terminating the system. Data Deletion: Once a service period expires or a system is deleted, all associated data is permanently erased. Recovery is not possible. No Liability: Ferdowsi Cloud is not liable for any data loss. Maintaining regular backups is the sole responsibility of the user. Intermediate Data: To ensure continuity, users must save intermediate execution data at least every 24 hours.
User Obligations
Backup Policy: Users must perform daily backups of critical data. Prohibited Software: The installation of unauthorized/unauthenticated Proxy or VPN services is strictly prohibited.
Large Data Transfer Policy
For large-scale data transfers, users may visit our facility with prior coordination. Requirements: You must bring your own laptop and storage devices (e.g., External HDD/SSD) for direct connection and data transfer.
Your data’s protection is important, but ultimate responsibility for management and backup rests with you. Regularly back up essential data and download all needed information before service expiration. Support staff can guide you for backups or data transfers.
Security & Unauthorized Activity
Security & Operational Policies
Root Access: Systems are provided with Admin (root) access. The user is solely liable for security breaches, malware, or system damage. Data Sensitivity: Do not store sensitive data. Consult with Support if strictly necessary.
Prohibited Activities
Usage Scope: Systems are for legitimate program execution only. Mining: Cryptocurrency mining is strictly prohibited. Monitoring: Ferdowsi Cloud reserves the right to monitor processes without prior notice. Users bear full responsibility for any violations.
Violations & Legal Liability
In case of any violation of these terms or local regulations, Ferdowsi Cloud reserves the right to: Block the user account. Suspend or terminate all services. Refer the case to judicial authorities.
With admin access, you have full system control and responsibility for its security. Use access only for authorized purposes and avoid prohibited activities like cryptocurrency mining. Your security is our priority; contact us for advice on securing your service.
Software, Support, and Notices
Software Responsibilities
Allocated systems are delivered bare (OS only).Installing software, troubleshooting, or ensuring software fits user needs is not the company’s responsibility unless explicitly contracted (additional service fees apply).
Support
Users can contact sales or support via phone, email, social media, or ticketing.Scheduled downtime or updates are announced at least 24 hours in advance via SMS or email.
Systems are delivered bare with your chosen OS. You are responsible for software installation. Our support team assists with infrastructure issues. Check announcements via SMS/email for updates. Contact us for further guidance.
Legal and Administrative Rules
User Registration & Data
Identity: Users must register with valid details, including Full Name, National ID, and Phone Number. Transfer: Rights and obligations cannot be transferred to third parties without prior written consent from Ferdowsi Cloud.
Intellectual Property
All rights, including trademarks for 'Ferdowsi Cloud', are exclusively owned by Ferdowsi Cloud (Private Joint Stock). Any unauthorized use of our brand or services is prohibited and subject to legal action.
Copyright Policy
Users must comply with international copyright laws. You may not use our services to publish, sell, or distribute unauthorized copyrighted content. Violation: Ferdowsi Cloud reserves the right to terminate services (non-refundable) and remove offending content.
